In general, California and New York are 2 very expensive states to live in. If you are looking for computer science universities and colleges in the USA that are cheap, you must look at the tuition charged by each school. By far, tuition at these US unversities offering computer science will be your biggest expense. It is essential that you check our the tuition costs by asking each college and university representative. Next comes living expenses. US schools offering computer science are scattered all over the USA, so you really have to check out the cost of living in each state. For example, living in North Carolina is much cheaper than living in New York or California. Hope this helps.
