Student Visa Approval Slow for Student from SOme Countries

I have heard that the US Immigration Department is taking more time than usual to approve a student visa and I-20 from certain countries? Does anyone know if this is true and, if so, which are the countries that are getting slow approvals? Thanks in advance!
